France 2019 - Day 4: Travel to Avignon

Left Caen for Paris on the train; not an express this time but still smooth, fast and a` l`heure (on time).

Arrived in Paris and took a death taxi to Gare De Lyon (traffic in Paris is frightening). Took the TGV to Avignon. Hit 301kph at one point; pretty awesome.

Arrived in Avignon (on time as usual) and NO taxis to be had. Took a local bus to the Gare Centre and walked the rest of the way to the apartment to meet our host. The apartment is just as advertised, wonderful!

Had a great dinner at a very close by restaurant. Slept OK for our first night, now is time to relax a bit and take in some local sites and culture.
