Gnarly Snowboarder Look-Alike

My son Brent sent me this photo from the pages of this months' transworld magazine. It's an ad for a coat made by sessions modeled by a "Nate Bozung."

"I think it's and old pic of dad, you be the judge," said Brent.

Late Breaking News

10:45 AM - Jane has been having pain in her lower back and right lung for about 4-5 days, and last night I listened to her lung sounds. The lower right lobe did not have any sounds, but she didn't want to go to the hospital last night.

So, here I am at work today, and I called home to find out she's in more pain. She had just called the Doctor, and he told her to go to the ER. She's there now having a chest XRay. I just felt compelled to enter this in my blog now, cause I can't do anything until I find out more.

If you read this today, please pray for Jane.

1:30 PM - Update. I called the ER and Jane said that she has pneumonia, and they are sending her home, so it's not too bad (at least not bad enough to be hospitalized). She'll be on antibiotics for awhile though, I'm sure. Praise God that it was not something more serious!

God's Timing

Isn't His timing amazing? About six months ago, a motorcycle buddy(ette) of ours told us about a place called Dream Dinners here in Corvallis.

It's one of those places where you assemble dinners in advance, put them in Ziploc bags and take them home and freeze them. Then later, you thaw them and cook them for your family. It takes the guesswork out of "what are we having for dinner tonight?"

Well, our motorcycle buddy stopped by the other night with six Dream Dinners, already prepared! We were one week away from payday, and the cupboard was running low, so it was PERFECT timing!

I must give thanks again to the many, many, wonderful people who are helping us through this difficult time in our lives. If you are one of those reading this blog entry right now, God Bless You! I cannot tell you how much it means to us to have so many special, loving people in our lives.
